The Fortinet FortiGate 100F is a compact next-generation firewall built around Fortinet's SPU SoC4 — a single system-on-chip that fuses the CPU with an NP6XLite network processor and a CP9 content processor for hardware-accelerated inspection.

It delivers 20 Gbps of firewall throughput and about 1 Gbps of NGFW and threat-protection throughput with IPS, application control and SSL inspection enabled, plus 11.5 Gbps of IPsec VPN and roughly 3 million concurrent sessions. Interfaces total 22× GbE (RJ-45 and SFP) plus 2× 10G SFP+ FortiLink/uplink ports, with dedicated WAN, HA and management ports.

Running FortiOS, it is a full security-driven-networking node: stateful firewall, IPS, web/DNS filtering, anti-malware, application control, ZTNA, and native Secure SD-WAN with application steering and WAN path remediation — managed standalone, via FortiManager, or from the Fortinet Security Fabric. An onboard SSD provides local logging.

Shipped seller-refurbished as hardware: chassis inspected, every interface link-tested, SPU and throughput verified, and the FortiOS configuration wiped to factory default.
